Job summary

Safelite in the United States is seeking a Technician Trainee who will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will complete hands-on and classroom training to earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and perform unsupervised glass repair, replacement and recalibrations as you grow.

You will learn to operate tools, follow safety protocols, and demonstrate a positive attitude and service mindset while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Willing to learn Safelite processes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Study and pass tests to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
