Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. offers a Technician Trainee program in which you will be trained to become a certified auto glass technician. Upon completion, you will earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and develop skills for glass repair, replacement and recalibrations.

You will learn through hands-on training, observe and assist installations, and progress toward becoming a certified technician with a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
