Job summary

Safelite in Rochester, NY is seeking a Technician Trainee to join our training program and earn the Safelite SafeTech certification. You will learn auto glass installation, repair, and recalibration while delivering high-quality service.

Upon completion, you’ll be certified and prepared to perform unsupervised work. This entry role emphasizes safety, customer care, and a strong work ethic with paid training and future opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
