Job summary

Safelite in the United States is seeking a Technician Trainee who will be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. You will gain hands-on and classroom experience to earn the Safelite SafeTech certification.

During training you will observe and assist with installing and repairing auto glass, recalibrate safety systems, and learn the Safelite way while delivering high quality service. Competitive pay starts at $20.25 per hour with raises after certification and benefits including

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice Safelite procedures through hands-on training.
• Observe and assist in auto glass installation and repair.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostics.
• Provide additional Safelite products and services.
• Maintain safety and follow Safelite standards during all tasks.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
