Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in the United States. You will be trained through hands-on and classroom instruction to become an auto glass technician with Safelite SafeTech certification.

You’ll perform glass repairs, recalibrations, and related services while upholding our service standards. Starting pay is $19.25/hr with progression to $22.75/hr after training; potential to reach $25.25/hr as Senior Tech and $27.50/hr as Master Tech.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and diagnose issues.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
