Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee to be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician. The role includes hands-on and classroom training to earn Safelite SafeTech certification and perform glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations with high quality and customer satisfaction.

Starting pay is competitive ($30.25–$33.50/hour), with potential promotions within the first year to Senior Tech or Master Tech.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services & products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow policies.
