Job summary

Safelite in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Technician Trainee to learn auto glass installation and repair. You will be trained hands-on and in the classroom, eventually earning Safelite SafeTech certification to perform recalibrations and installations with quality and safety at the fore.

You will drive company vehicles for jobs, follow the Safelite training program, and progress through hands-on and testing to become a certified technician, while supporting customers with a positive, service-oriented

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces.
• Proficient with hand and power tools to install/repair auto glass.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Operate company vehicles and use company tools safely.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
