Job summary

Safelite seeks a Technician Trainee in New York to train and become a certified auto glass technician. You will be paid to learn through hands-on and classroom training, observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass, and recalibrate safety systems.

Upon completion, you earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and gain skills for unsupervised glass repair, replacement and recalibrations, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Safely operate company vehicles and tools.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
