Westlake Financial is seeking an On-site Collections Specialist in Agoura Hills. You will handle high-volume calls, negotiate payment plans, and protect customer information while adhering to FDCPA guidelines.

The role offers base pay starting at $18.47/hour with monthly bonus potential up to $3,000, plus a tiered retention bonus and monthly incentives. A comprehensive benefits package is provided in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of consumer collections experience in a high call‑volume auto‑dialer environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional phone presence.
• Understanding of collection laws, including the FDCPA.
• Proficient with computers; comfortable with data entry, web‑based applications, and Excel & Outlook.
• Team player with a positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule; overtime and weekends when needed.
• Knowledge of collections and repossession processes; auto collection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls providing friendly, professional support.
• Reach out to customers to set up payments or create plans.
• Negotiate fair payment solutions while meeting performance goals.
• Keep detailed and accurate notes on all interactions.
• Listen actively and communicate clearly with customers, teammates, management.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers.
• Review accounts for repossession following guidelines.
• Work toward department goals by reducing delinquency rates.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Protect confidential information related to customers and company operations.
