Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Collections Representative for a Contract-to-Hire role in Fort Worth, TX. This hybrid position focuses on post-charge-off recovery, skip tracing, and account resolution, with training onsite for 3-4 weeks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in collections, knowledge of auto finance, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Expect a collaborative, business-casual environment with on-site and remote work balance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience.
• 1+ year of collections experience preferred.
• Auto collections experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with skip tracing, debt collection, accounts receivable, or recovery activities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage post charge-off and deficiency accounts.
• Handle inbound calls related to payments, payoffs, and account resolution.
• Investigate and locate customers and collateral through skip tracing and research tools.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement options.
• Work closely with vendors, attorneys, and internal departments to resolve accounts.
• Review and process documentation, invoices, and account updates.
• Analyze account information and recommend recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with company policies.
