Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player who can effectively work with customers and internal departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other accounting/business software.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections for assigned customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process customer payments, cash applications, and deposits.
• Reconcile accounts and research payment issues, including chargebacks and unauthorized deductions.
• Resolve billing and collection disputes through communication with customers and internal teams.
• Prepare weekly aging/trial balance reports and other AR reporting.
• Release order holds in a timely manner and help prevent future collection issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and efficiency.
