You will work with multiple systems to review accounts and document contact attempts. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in collections or financial services, exceptional negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of FDCPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act guidelines.
• Ability to retain training and adapt to process changes.
• Strong negotiation and empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect past due payments and negotiate payment plans.
• Manage inbound/outbound calls for delinquent accounts.
• Review account information across multiple systems and document contacts.
• Educate and build relationships to influence timely payments.
• Monitor and follow up on loan repayment agreements.
• Assist customers with debt repayment plans including modifications/deferrals.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate and contact borrowers.
