Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and remove vehicle-based electronic and alcohol-monitoring equipment. Training is provided so you can learn the specific systems.

The role focuses on 12-volt automotive electronics, wiring, diagnostics, and device programming, with a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm on-site schedule and strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• At least one year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when required by location.
• Ability to meet background-check and drug-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
• Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
• Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
• Manage weekly work hours and communicate effectively with management.
• Hold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
