Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the reliable operation of alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic systems. This on-site role blends hands-on electrical work with customer service, requiring a practical, detail-oriented professional capable of both installation and training others.

The position emphasizes 1 year of customer-facing experience, strong communication, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards in a dynamic field operations environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to provide phone support and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct training sessions and provide phone support to ensure satisfaction.
• Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
• Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
• Manage weekly work hours (≤ 40 hours/week) and communicate with management.
• Uphold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with all laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
