Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Lebanon, VA is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and remove vehicle-based electronic equipment. This role involves 12-volt systems, wiring, and 3x week coverage of Lebanon and Marion shops. Training is provided to adapt to our equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and at least 1 year of customer-facing experience. On-site hours are Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is needed.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet background-check and drug-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support.
• Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments.
• Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed.
• Manage weekly work hours and communicate with management.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers.
