Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems with focus on safety and first-time right service. The technician will follow VIP processes, complete AIM diagnostics, and perform maintenance and repairs including brakes, electrical, and engine systems.

The role requires ASE certifications and a commitment to safety training, with a standard 5-day, 40-hour work week at our Rockland, ME location. A strong customer-service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
• Diagnose and recommend automotive solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Ensure accurate Service Work Orders and MPI before service.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper inventory handling.
• Adhere to VIP quality standards and complete required trainings.
