Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, ensuring quality work the first time. You will follow VIP processes, handle parts, and maintain documentation while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires ASE certifications, at least one year in automotive service, and strong communication with customers and team members. This is a full-time, on-site position in Maine, with a focus on safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Completion of two-year technical program optional but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive systems and perform repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and safety training is completed.
• Initiate a Service Work Order and maintain it during service.
• Source needed parts from desk staff and return unused parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and shop equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training and ASE certification upkeep.
