Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, parts, fluids, tires, and accessories. The role emphasizes safe operation, clear communication with customers, and adherence to VIP processes to deliver a better experience.

The Technician will perform service in a fast-paced shop, ensuring first-time-right work, and completing required training and certifications. This on-site position follows standard shop hours and pays hourly.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and accurately.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is priority and follow all safety policies.
• Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for vehicles across ASE areas.
• Initiate and display Service Work Orders and MPI before service.
• Take parts from desk team and return unused parts after service.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safe work environment.
• Train and obtain ASE certifications as required.
