Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician in Maine to diagnose, repair, and service automotive systems, ensuring every job is done right the first time and safely. This role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, and adherence to VIP processes to deliver a superior customer experience.

You will complete required training, pursue ASE certifications, and work with the Service Manager to source parts, maintain shop safety, and keep the vehicle service area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
• Current, valid driver's license issued in state of residence
• Equipment Safety Certification and ASE certifications encouraged

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems and perform maintenance per VIP standards
• Follow safety policies, complete training, and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Source needed parts from designated personnel and return unused parts promptly
• Support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process and quality service programs
