Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Field Auto Damage Trainee to support customers after an accident by inspecting vehicle damage, estimating repairs, and negotiating settlements. You will work with body shops, rental companies, and parts suppliers in the San Francisco, CA area, with a structured trainee program and mentorship.

The role emphasizes customer service, problem resolution, and meaningful impact on claim outcomes. Licensing, training support, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs is a plus.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• Valid driver’s license per underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Consult with involved parties, review contracts, inspect vehicles, write estimates and manage rental cars.
• Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Drive customer satisfaction through meaningful interactions.
