Qualifications

• Experience writing auto damage estimates for repairable and total loss vehicles.
• Experience handling salvage processes and Copart assignments.
• Ability to negotiate labor rates, storage fees, and other charges with repair and tow facilities.
• Handle non-complex first-party auto claims from review to resolution.
• Strong communication with insureds, agents, repair facilities, and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Review and write auto damage estimates for repairable and total loss vehicles.
• Evaluate total losses and manage the salvage process, including Copart assignments.
• Negotiate labor rates, storage fees, and other charges with repair and tow facilities.
• Handle non-complex first-party auto claims from initial review through resolution.
• Manage coverage, investigations, reserves, settlements, and claim documentation.
• Maintain APD claim inventory and ensure timely resolution.
• Serve as an auto physical damage resource for the claims team.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, agents, repair facilities, and internal partners.
