Job summary

EDGE CLAIMS LLC seeks an Auto Liability/Physical Damage Adjuster to handle minor to moderately complex Casualty Commercial Claims (Auto and General Liability). You will investigate, assess, and resolve claims following policy terms and company practices.

Under limited supervision, you will establish reserves, negotiate settlements, and communicate clearly with insureds, employers, and witnesses while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (with high school diploma).
• Commercial Auto Insurance Claims Handling experience.
• 4 years' related claim experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.

Responsibilities

• Investigates the claim or coverage by making timely and appropriate contact with involved or interested parties including but not limited to the insured or employer representatives, claimant, witnesses, and producers.
• Verifies coverage and policy conditions. Reviewed coverage issues as needed with supervisor.
• Establishes reserves based on estimating outcome of a claim based on the facts for the case and company standards. Adjust reserves based on fact, company standard and experience.
• Effectively settles and negotiates non-litigated claims.
