Responsibilities

• Leads the work activities of claims professionals and managers; sets expectations and coaching.
• Drives productivity, manages expenses, oversees vendors, and ensures quality and customer service standards.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high quality and timely claim service.
• Oversees claim handling protocols and training needs across multiple teams.
• Uses data analytics to monitor performance and drive operational effectiveness.
• Manages department and claims expenses; leverages resources and identifies trends.
• Develops partnerships with internal and external resources to maximize operations.
• Communicates information to employees through meetings and 1:1 discussions.
• Participates with senior leadership in strategies and objectives; holds the team accountable.
• Oversees compliance with state/local regulatory requirements; stays current on laws.
• May participate in special projects.
