Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of related work experience with 3+ years of management.
• Auto physical damage background strongly preferred; other auto Bodily Injury experience a plus.
• Certifications or professional designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads claims professionals and managers with full management responsibility.
• Drives productivity, manages expenses, and ensures quality customer service.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high quality and timely claim service.
• Oversees adherence to claim handling protocols and training needs.
• Uses data analytics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Manages department and claims expenses and leverages resources.
• Builds collaborations with internal and external partners to optimize operations.
• Communicates with employees through meetings and 1:1 discussions.
• Participates in development and reinforcement of claim strategies and objectives.
• Ensures compliance with state/local regulatory requirements.
