Auto Club Enterprises in Coppell, TX seeks an entry-level Claims Auto Adjuster to support the Auto Claims Operation. You will handle claims of material and property damage, and liability, under moderate supervision with guided procedures.

The role emphasizes liability investigation, coverage evaluation, and negotiation for lower-complexity claims, using established practices and claims tools. Licensure within state law may be required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's equivalent combined with education and experience preferred.
• No prior claims experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and general computer software.
• Organization and planning skills required.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Interpersonal skills required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state (issued by state).
• May be required to obtain an Adjuster license within 60 days in accordance with state law.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants to verify benefits and process claims.
• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages using statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first/third-party claims in multiple markets.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
