Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers a hands-on opportunity in the automotive industry, starting with a 30‑day trial to qualify for the 18‑month Technician Development Program. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learning basic auto body repair tasks, tool use, and safety practices.

Successful candidates gain practical experience in dent removal, sanding, painting, and vehicle inspections while collaborating with teammates to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred
• Some on-the-job experience preferred
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision (dent removal, sanding, painting)
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs within timelines and quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area
