The Boyd Group, doing business as Gerber Collision & Glass in Kingwood, TX, is seeking an Auto Body Technician with 4-5 years of collision repair experience. The role focuses on meticulous repair, safe operations, and delivering a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using shop tools, realigning frames, and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition, with a strong emphasis on speed, quality, and teamwork across the shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork with other repairers in auto body shop.

Responsabilités

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles using specialized tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
