Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Key duties include planning repairs, preparing customer cost estimates, using tools such as cutting guns and plasma cutters, realigning chassis, replacing damaged sections

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
