Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while aligning with the WOW plan and KPI targets, acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical program or apprenticeship. Strong tool skills and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resin if needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
