Gerber Collision & Glass in Houston, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician with 4-5 years of collision repair experience. You will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, using cutting tools, welds, and refinishing techniques, while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, realigning frames, replacing parts and ensuring all work meets KPIs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of auto body repair methods and proper tool use.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers where needed; realign chassis and replace parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalent.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and compliance.
