Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Key responsibilities include planning repairs, repairing dents, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, and applying factory-grade paint. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently in daily work.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dented areas using fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as required.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
