Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repairs and a customer-first approach. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring quality and speed while promoting the company’s brand standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and consistent delivery of high-quality results. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interiors as required.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
