Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the WOW plan and company standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using a range of tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, glass, and finishes, and ensuring quality through thorough inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and the tools used.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace damaged sections and parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and paint with factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
