Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to assess, repair, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble components, replace glass, weld parts, and prime for finish, all while upholding quality and speed.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training or an apprenticeship, and strong teamwork and safety focus within a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Completed technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and paint vehicles per standards.
• Ensure work meets labor time guidelines and KPIs.
