Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Verona, PA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by expertly assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, realign chassis, replace parts, weld, and repaint. High school diploma or tech school/apprenticeship required; ability to read orders, work with teammates, and use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Must be able to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents with fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass/parts as required.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect results.
