Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will thoroughly disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align chassis and frames while using cutting tools and welds where needed.

You will replace damaged sections and glass, prepare paint finishes, and ensure work orders meet time guidelines. The role emphasizes quality, speed, and customer excellence in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred for auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
