Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States (PA area) is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles, aligning with our speed, quality and customer-excellence standards.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a tech school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory standards.
• Ensure work aligns with KPIs and inspect vehicles after repair.
