Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts, and ensure repairs meet speed, quality and customer excellence standards.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced shop, reading job orders, using cutting tools, welding and paint processes to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Repair glass, interior parts, and wheels; fit parts and apply paint.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure work meets KPIs and quality standards.
