Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by thoroughly inspecting and repairing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, plus either a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and formal training or apprenticeship.
• Experience with auto body repair methods and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while ensuring adherence to KPIs.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, or visible components as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint to factory specifications or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
