Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to perform meticulous assessments and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while coordinating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools (cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers) to repair sections.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts or glass as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs for quality.
