Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You will dismantle, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles while upholding our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, handle cost estimates, and ensure repairs meet factory specifications. A valid high school diploma or equivalent and a technical program or apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to ensure performance goals.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, apply fillers, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, and restore factory paint finish.
• Weld, fit parts, and inspect repairs for quality before delivery.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and document results.
• Perform related duties and collaborate with team to meet KPIs.
