Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship. You will work with high-quality tools in a busy shop and participate in ongoing safety and unit KPI goals.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Team collaboration within auto body shop environment.
• Strong understanding of repair methods for vehicle bodies.
• Skilled in using shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute repair plans for vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles as needed.
• Prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Realign chasses/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld, fit, and align components as required.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles with approved finishes.
• Ensure work meets time and quality KPIs.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and safety.
