Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Columbus, OH seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with the team to meet KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group, following WOW Operating Way guidelines and ensuring safe, efficient repairs daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with parts; repair glass.
• Replace or repair interior parts.
• Weld and reattach parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
