Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair and reassemble, replace parts, and refinish to factory specs while maintaining safety and teamwork in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles; replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and windshields; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles post-repair.
