Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repair of each vehicle, restoring it to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting the brand and KPIs, partnering with teammates to uphold speed, accuracy, and customer excellence.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Understand and apply methods to repair vehicle bodies and use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint with factory or equivalent paint.
• Aim to complete work orders within labour time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and accuracy.
