Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with teammates to meet KPIs, act as a Brand Ambassador, and adhere to WOW standards. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed to repair body damage.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles per factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
