Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience by inspecting, repairing, and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with the team to ensure speed, quality, and customer excellence across all repair tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using relevant tools.
• Repair dents using filler resins when needed and realign chassis/frames to fix structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as required.
• Welds and fits parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
