Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our speed, quality and customer-excellence standards.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers, and ensure work meets labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers as needed; realign chassis and frames.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
