Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Ohio is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign frames, replace damaged sections, and apply paint to factory specifications, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant technical training or apprenticeship, with strong attention to detail and ability to work with others

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair is required or preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and perform repairs with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with attention to quality.
• Realign chassis and frames and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Repair or replace glass, interior parts, and perform repainting as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and ensure work orders meet labor guidelines.
