Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence while aligning with team KPIs and brand standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
Ability to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
Hammer out dents and other damage; apply filler resins when needed.
Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
Replace or repair glass and interior parts.
Weld and repaint vehicles as required.
Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
